Ministering to the University Community

The mission of St. John University Parish is to be the living presence of Christ at West Virginia University and the greater Morgantown area. With reliance on God, empowered by the Holy Spirit, guided by Catholic tradition, and centered around the Eucharist, we strive to form a community of faith and service that responds to the call to holiness, faith formation, and evangelization.

Mass Schedule

  • Monday & Tuesday:
    • 5:00 pm in the Church
  • Wednesday:
    • 5:00 pm
  • Thursday & Friday:
    • 5:00 pm in the Church
  • Confession time: 4 - 5 PM Monday through Saturday
  • Saturday:
    • 5:00 pm for Sunday obligation
  • Sunday:
    • 8:30am, 10:00am
    • 6:30 pm
      Student Mass Sunday at 9:00pm (When WVU is in session)


Sunday, August 30, from 12:00-5:00 pm on the parish grounds. Food will be served from noon to 2:00 pm. Games will start at 1:30 pm. Last name A-H, bring a salad (fruit, veggie, or pasta); I-Q, desserts; R-Z, vegetables. SEE YOU THERE!

Graduate Students and Young Professionals

Would you like to get more involved in your faith through service and community?
